Front End Developer – Adobe, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Permanent Position - Based in Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford

Cyber Media Solutions is a successful Web solutions company with clients throughout the UK and Europe. We are recruiting graduates with a passion for design in general and design for the Web in particular.

Role Description

Your main role will be to develop XHTML / CSS templates from agreed static concepts, and implement these within a number of CMS solutions. The successful candidate will be competent in Web user interface development, accessibility and modern techniques.

You will report directly to the Creative Director. Demonstrable experience of hand-coding Web standards based solutions for multiple platforms is essential. The successful candidate will have:

  • HTML/XHTML/CSS standards based hand coding (not WYSIWYG) development skills
  • Experience using JavaScript libraries, such as jQuery and Prototype
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, e.g. Joomla!  Sharepoint
  • Experience creating table-less layout designs
  • Experience of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Awareness of website accessibility and wider implications

Experience with Photoshop in a Windows environment is essential. Experience with Dreamweaver would be advantageous but not essential. You should have a good portfolio of work which showcases your expertise.

Own transport is desirable. The job is based in modern offices located at Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford.

Salary

£18K to £22 depending on experience.
