Permanent Position - Based in Stafford
Web Designer
Cyber Media provide a range of world-class Web solutions including Web site design and development, content management systems, bespoke database design and development, tailored applications and managed Linux and Windows hosting. Our friendly and growing team is based in modern offices located in Stafford.
Role description:
The successful candidate will be competent in Web user interface development, accessibility and modern techniques. You will work on projects from initial concept to final completion, reporting directly to the Creative Director. Demonstrable experience of hand-coding Web standards based solutions with a critical eye for design is essential. The successful candidate will have:
- Strong visual design skills
- HTML/XHTML/CSS standards based hand coding (not wysiwig ) development skills
- Experience creating tableless layout designs
- Experience deploying Flash projects, both on and offline
- Experience of cross browser compatibility issues
- Awareness of website accessibility and wider implications
Experience with Photoshop in a Windows environment is essential. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous but not essential. You should have a good portfolio of work which showcases your expertise.
