Nuclear Decommissioning AuthorityThe Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is a non-departmental public body, set up in April 2005 under the Energy Act 2004 to take strategic responsibility for the UK’s nuclear legacy. Their core objective is to ensure that the 20 civil public sector nuclear sites under their ownership are decommissioned and cleaned up safely, securely, cost effectively and in ways that protect the environment for this and future generations.
Since September 2005 Cyber Media, working in partnership with the NDA, have delivered a corporate intranet, several public sites, and a comprehensive range of solutions according to the NDA’s requirements. The corporate intranet and Web site were both built on the same platform and fearure:
- Comprehensive Content Management System (CommonSpot Content Server)
- Compliance with eGMS (Electronic Government Metadata Standards)
- Integrated search engine
- Adherence to the NDA’s interbrand and prototype/interface requirements
- Rapid deployment – the intranet was operational within a month of project initiation
- Interface with the NDA’s current Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
- Users without html knowledge able to publish content
- Able to support a large number of users (several off-site)

CommonSpot Content Server Arguably the best value, mid range, content management system available on the market today, CommonSpot is an intuitive and feature rich product that is easy to use ... Intranet Most companies today have some form of intranet. Increasingly however, they recognise the unrealised potential and want to narrow the gap between potential and realised value. |
