The Blue Coat School Web site was launched today. Founded in 1834 as a school for orphans, the Blue Coat School was one of the very first specialist colleges for science and maths. Today it is a Beacon and Leading Edge school and has achieved recognition from Investors in People, Sport England, Microsoft Academy, and the Healthy Schools Award.
The site is the first of a suite of Web sites that Cyber Media is developing for Positive Steps Oldham to be completed. Two new Web sites for Connexions Oldham and Oldham Drugs and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) are soon to follow.
