National Forest launch redesigned website

Monday, August 8, 2005

The new National Forest website was launched today. Cyber Media have redesigned the National Forest website in order to enable the site to accommodate additional content and improve usability.

The main feature of the new design is the colour coding of each section in order to encourage instant association of content with the relevant section. For example the News section has been assigned the colour light blue; hence any light blue coloured snippet of text on any page can be instantly identified as a news item.

Another notable addition is the new ‘Locking up our Carbon' page where the user can navigate a guide around a path and learn about the carbon cycle and how supporting the creation of The National Forest is one of many positive steps one could take towards reducing the effects of climate change.

Further developments are currently underway and the site will continue to grow and expand.

We wanted a company that would listen to us; that would deliver the right solution and be somebody that we could feel comfortable with, we have a very good partnership with Cyber-Media, so much so that they are now our appointed contractor.
