Connexions Tameside is part of a national network of Connexions partnerships. The company provides support, information and guidance to young people and adults in order to raise aspirations and help them to participate in their own learning and personal development.
The Connexions service in Manchester, Salford, Tameside and Rochdale is provided by Better Choices Ltd. who employ over 200 staff in delivering this service, including Personal Advisers, Employment Assistants and other professional and support staff.
Working in Partnership with Better Choices Ltd, we have provided:
- Internet sites for young people and adults
- A comprehensive content management system (CommonSpot Content Server)
- Site design and implementation
- Support and training
We selected Cybermedia as we had looked at Connexions sites and liked the work they'd done for other Connexions Partnerships. We had also received positive reports about the supportive and helpful service provided by Cybermedia.
Cybermedia have created four sites for our company, and have provided us with a flexible framework that we can develop to suit our specific needs. Their on-going technical support is both hands on and supportive.
