Having worked with the National Forest Company for several years, one of our most recent projects involved the optimisation of the Visit National Forest website for mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, Android & Blackberry devices, etc. Working in partnership with the National Forest we provided a full service including:
- Mobile website design and development
- Optimisation of navigation and graphics for display on small screens of varying sizes
- Server configuration to handle multiple versions of the site (all visitors access the site through one URL, and the server recognises the device and serves the most appropriate version)
- Content optimisation for optimal display on all devices
- Support and training
- Hosting
The National Forest Company was established in April 1995 and is responsible, through partnership working, for the delivery of the Government approved National Forest Strategy. It is one of the country's boldest environmental projects, and we feel quite privileged for being a part of this effort.
We wanted a company that would listen to us; that would deliver the right solution and be somebody that we could feel comfortable with, we have a very good partnership with Cyber-Media, so much so that they are now our appointed contractor.
