The National Forest Company was established in April 1995 and is responsible, through partnership working, for the delivery of the Government approved National Forest Strategy. It is one of the country's boldest environmental projects, and we feel quite privileged for being a part of this effort.
We have worked with the National Forest Company for over 6 years, and are now in the third iteration of the National Forest website. During this time we have provided a complete range of services including:
- Website design and development
- Consultation – Wireframing
- Database development
- Maintenance and support
- Hosting
- Compliance with web accessibility standards to AAA level
The website development was a complex project involving the re-design of both the website that visitors see and the database ‘back-end’ that contains more than 600 individual site records.
We worked closely with Cyber Media and are delighted with the end result! The site is easy to use, containing information on places to visit, where to stay, events to attend and much more. It will help visitors plan their days out and short breaks in The National Forest and we believe will contribute to bringing more visitors to our destination.
