Essential Skills / Experience

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience of developing Java Software in a commercial environment
  • Developing and consuming APIs (RESTful/SOAP)
  • Good knowledge of databases and developing complex SQL queries

Desirable Skills / Experience

  • Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, Microsoft SQL Server, JQuery, MySQL and JavaScript
  • Developing software using a Microservice architecture
  • Software development in an Agile Environment, ideally using Jira
  • Knowledge of Docker and container technologies
  • Experience of Test Driven Development
  • Knowledge of Build Pipelines and CI/CD automation
  • Expertise in health informatics and interoperability technologies, e.g. FHIR, HL7, INTEROPen
  • Expertise in information security and governance

Remote Working

We offer hybrid working or remote working by agreement. Our offices are in Stafford.

Package

  • Permanent position
  • £45,000 to £60,000 negotiable per annum (depending on experience)
  • 31 days holiday, increasing further with service
  • Holiday buy and sell scheme
  • Pension (company contribution 5%)
