The Diary & Booking System provides a powerful, filterable calendar that lets you view availability by system user, location, event type, or any combination of attributes. From this single view, staff can jump directly into the details of an appointment or activity within the client record. Creating new bookings is effortless – just select a free slot and Theseus automatically checks availability to prevent double-booking, ensuring every schedule stays accurate and reliable.
If your service uses groupwork in Theseus, the calendar view can also be used to manage groupwork sessions.
Services can also use the module to manage waiting rooms for service delivery settings. The calendar view supports real-time appointment / event status updates including client arrivals, client waiting, and appointments in progress.
Availability can be configured to match exactly how services operate, with flexible working patterns that define where and when staff are available, including restrictions by location or activity type. Additional ad-hoc availability or unavailability (such as meetings, holidays, or overtime) can also be recorded, ensuring diaries always reflect reality. Each agency or service retains control over its own working patterns, event types, and durations.
